Before the election, many Democrats thought Catherine Cortez Masto was by far the most vulnerable of the Democratic incumbents. She ended up winning a close race against Republican Joe Lombardo in Nevada's governor's race. John Avlon says there were several things that went into the calculation to make his prediction come true.
