If you make your way to the centre of town,. you'll see a monument in the shape of a tombstone. There's an engraving on this slab of rock to mamma possum with a couple of babies clinging to her back. The dedication also notes that their presence here has provided a source of nutritious and flavorful food. Possumrumor has it that the town of wasa has more possums than people.
