I was so excited to see those cars change into robots and when that first one started to transform I thought man here it is this is the best part. But then I saw some breakneck twirly Jim Carrey in the mask Tasmanian devil whirlwind of CGI crap and then ta da big giant alien robot I was ruined why oh I don't know maybe it's because the way that the car turns into the robot is the point of the freaking movie. As epic as it might be epic enough to be directed by Michael Bay-S himself I am not worried about it because ultimately it's not even about the artist's relationship to the work that matters for me but how well it connects me
