In march 19 30, with the economy beginning to nose dive, a dispute over labor laws sees chancellor herman muller turfed out of office. The good news for the natses is that bruning is about as weak and ineffectual a chancellor as they could possibly have wished for. Yet more elections are set for september 19 30. Hitler prepares to out all the stops on the campaign trail. Meanwhile, joseph gurbles sets out his programme for a summer of agitation. He will turn hittler's hooligans into victims, and one of them into a martyr.
