The Cost of IVF
USA Today ran an article on the front page last Friday saying, "The only problem with IVF is cost" The writer was referring to in vitro fertilization (IVF), a process that costs upwards of $20,000. John Sutter: Even when you're looking at the reproductive cells, it still takes a male cell and a female cell. But along comes the consumer market to commodify that, so now you can basically buy human reproductive gametes on the market.
