My guess is that she was kidnapped and taken somewhere else, but this location's weird to me because it would be somewhat remote. But we do know that they did find something else at this site where her body was recoverd from. In mid june, articles said that investigators were awaiting results of forensic testing on items recovered with nevea's body at the river front. The police have never discussed what else was found in the area, and never really gave details about the concrete that was found on top of navada.
