How to Redevelop an Existing Product

The biggest thing is really start with your customers and understand what they're using it for. Is there extra stuff in this legacy product that's making it bloated and unusable? There might be an opportunity for you to revamp the UX or put it into more of a modern type code base. Do it through discovery quickly with interviews. Watch how people are using it. Understand why they're use it. See if there's opportunities to make it better.
