The New Testament - I'm Going to Act as if God Is Good

In the new testament you're supposed to act towards god as if he's nothing but good. The underlying idea is that if you act in that manner, it makes it more likely to be true. And so there's a kirk courageous element to it, which i think is also expressed to some degree in the idea of christ's voluntary sacrifice of his own life. There's right there an act of courage associated with that transformed attitude.
