There's negative feedback on the hypothylamic patuitary acces to write to so f s h and l h, or not doing the thing normally. That applies to methods that suppress obulations. The hormonal i ds don't generally have highenough doses to do this,. So instead, they work through kind of the other mechanisms, like thickening cervical mucus, changing motility in the tubes - things like that.
