How Do We Reduce Prediction Errors in Meditation?

The reason that we act or do anything according to this model is because of prediction error, essentially. So for example, if you feel thirsty, we have the stubborn expectation in the system that we should have a certain level of H2O in the system. And when that's not fulfilled, we get the feeling of thirst, which gives rise to prediction errors. These are the two ways that our signals from the body affect our stress or anxiety. We're constantly projecting from the past our needs onto the present moment,. experiencing some sort of effective response and then acting as a consequence of that. The only way that we can have predictions and abstractions is by projecting the past onto this electrical data
