We Offer Up the Sacrifice of Thanksgiving and Call on the Name of the Lord Together
Psalm 116 is precious in the heart of every priest. It says, I will offer to you the sacrifice of thanksgiving and call on the name of the Lord. The Greek word for thanksgiving is the word Eucharistia. And so when you go to the mass, you also offer up the Eucharistic sacrifice, the Thanksgiving sacrifice.
