The Antinima of Resilience
Risk factors such as unsocial hours and lack of autonomy are baked into health care systems. In the UK, that's just how the NHS functions; we put people who we seem to choose for perfectionism. But it is not intractable: there is evidence of what works in countries like Australia where employers have taken action against some of these things. The antinima of resilience is fragility, vulnerability. If somebody exhibits those symptoms, that doesn't necessarily mean they're weak in terms of stress and burnout. It just means that the organizational pressures and risk factors has ground them down.
