Entangled Temporality: A Different Understanding of Time

For me, it is entangled temporality that are arranged by capitalists. The way in which the past is still living with the past and we are still repairing the past. And we are also repairing the present as it is because white supremacy is still extremely cruel and brutal. We have to repair already the future to look at the future because it's being destroyed as we speak by racial capitalism. So history for writing is not about a celebration of the past as building a form of modernity. But then we write as we look at it, consider it from the present and even from the future. That gives us a totally different understanding of time," she says.
