The Difference Between a PHP Application and a JavaScript Framework
A lot of times with react, they really only worry about that second interaction. Many times the perceived performance is faster just after you've already loaded a lot of the stuff. Once you've done that, things are very quick. But if you go to a completely random link or something, then you're it's going to have to load that and you'll have to wait. You don't get that flash with reactor angular or whatever.
