Is There a Difference Between Capitalism and Neoliberalism?
I think that too much isn't about like, you know, there was a time when capitalism wasn't so harsh. The decisions about societal, the sort of ethical moral political social decisions were no economists had the notion that those should be made according to the same principles as market share or something like that. Before deregulation, the thought was, well, this is a public good, it was a political decision, it's a public good so we need to make sure that everybody can access that. Or like, deregulated let competition reign substituting economic principles and capitalistic principles for political decisions.
