How to Be a Successful Quantitative Developer at Ix
The reason to display an order versus keep it hidden is if you want to buy stock at a price and you just play that order, a seller will know you're there so they can know where to find you. It really just depends on what kind of strategy you're running. So I would say in the beginning, my role was primarily as a developer. And then probably maybe eight months ago or so it transitioned into more of a data science role. We've been going through this public comment period where companies around the industry and individuals outside the industry have been commenting on our application to become an exchange.
