Donald Trump just survived an assassination attempt at a campaign rally, irreversibly changing the state of U.S. politics. The incident produced images of a strong and defiant Trump, and it almost certainly produced a political climate more favorable for his re-election. Brian is joined by Eugene Puryear to consider how both elite parties will respond to growing political instability by further lurching to the right.
