The Power of Emotional Dysregulation in ADHD
When we are emotionally dysregulated, we are not in our prefrontal cortex. Our brain goes directly into the limbic area and all it's concerned about doing is keeping you alive. So your blood immediately travels from the core of your torso to your outer limbs so that your organs no longer have the ability to rest and digest. And when you have ADHD, this is already a problem for you.
