The Cost of Launching a Church

Journey Church in Cleveland launched with a budget of about $140,000. The majority of that came from selling the church's home and partnering with other churches. Pastor JJ Winter Park says he waited too long to teach stewardship because he was afraid his reputation would develop for this money. "If you believe what the Bible says about stewardship ... why would you withhold these kinds of blessings?"
