The Integrity of the True and the Good
There's usually some sort of backdrop of preference satisfaction theory or maybe at the contract, social contractarianism at the root of it. And that's really a deflationary notion of ethics so much so that I'm not sure it's even properly called ethics. It's more just like practical reasoning, simplicity of which ethics is a species and that species is removed from these kinds of theories.
