McMc Methods That Take Advantage of Hardware Acceleration

In the last few years, something I've been very interested in is MCMC methods that can take advantage of hardware acceleration in a kind of meaningful way. The hope is that by running a bunch of chains in parallel, all you have to wait for is for them to warm up and forget their butt and get rid of their bias. And then you can let the parallelism handle the variance for you, and then you get a good enough estimate, right? That's sort of one line that we've been looking at is sort of like diagnostics and algorithms that make sense in that context. But yeah, other thing, other topics I'm starting to get interested in recently are sequential Monte Carlo
