The Effects of Water on Permanent Shadowed Regions
It was thought that some of these permanently shadowed regions might have had water left over from whatever impacted into them. So, so like it, it's not permanent. It didn't form with the moon and just never got sunlit on it. That is true. And then the other thing that we heard was before it was understood just how common this is. Which doesn't make a ton of sense when you think through that the formation of large craters are going to end up with a lot of melting occurring.
