The Power of Prayer and Meditation

There's an entire emerging field called neuro theology, which was looked at the neural mechanisms in response to prayer. And communing with the divine and belief in a higher power as similar to something like a gratitude practice. Even though you might pray for just a ten minutes every morning and maybe meditate for five to ten minutes in the evening, what's happening is you're subconscious it's actually shifting in a very dramatic way that affects you the other 24 hours of the day. When you are praying, engaged in a meditative practice and infusing a lot of these positive practices into your life, you tend to do a better job keeping yourselves out of spinning and selling danger mode.
