It's extraordinary that we would privilege a scientific explanation over somebody being able to own their experiences and how profound and sacred those experiences were in their lives. We shouldn't have to poke holes at it and say, well, that's ridiculous. That could never happen like that's not the point. You're missing it. What was my big take away with near death experiences? Like, i suppose to the stuff going on in the hospice, but actually interviewing people who dad endesre i don't care if you were technically brain dead for forty minutes versus one second, or whatever. Something has happened to them that has had extraordinary impact on their lives.
