The ocean is beautiful. The giant whale-esque figure, which is a huge part of this story is extraordinary. I think my criticism is not about what actually takes place under the sea or how it looks or even how it feels. But you might say there's too much time devoted to aliens shooting at each other as well. What did you learn about raising a boy from this film? Oh my God. You know, like I just don't want to be taken down that path.
