Where Do You Find Life?

In the book of Elisha, a famine is mentioned. The prophet offers food to those who need it but they turn their back and look for it in places where god has not promised it to be found. A man doesn't know what wild gourds are so he puts them into his stew without knowing how dangerous they might be. He then exclaims that "there's death in the pot" as some die from eating him. In another miracle at the end we're told about bread of the fruits brought by a man called baalashah - i think it's leviticus 23.
