Is 3.5% the Light Years From Where We Are Now?
3.5% in the 10-year yield is a huge drop from where we are now, and it's going to crater the broader markets. The CME FedWatch tool says there's a 50-50 chance between a 50 basis point hike and a 75%. I'd just be really surprised if they indicate that they're going to go 75. We didn't even have to draw a line on the uptrend! That 50 day has really held like a boss here. It definitely feels we're going to trade down to the 50-day, which probably comes in right north of 4%.
