The New Testament Gift of Prophecy

The holy spirit has been understood as the personified love that exists between the father and the son. Jesus made us sons and daughters of god, based on his grace, not your performance. We can't seem to unwind our emotions that are connected to our performance by reciting an intellectual credo. So how do we actually experience what jesus taught? How does that go from a logical principle in our heads to the emotional foundation we live from? Well that's the work of the holy spirit.
