US gasoline prices fell for almost 100 days in a row from mid June. Now with just a month left until what will likely be a close run midterm elections, domestic gas prices have begun to creep up again over the last few weeks. Bernie Sanders said OPEC's decision to cut back on production is a blatant attempt to increase gas prices at the pump that cannot stand. Democrat Senator Chris Murphy from Connecticut called into question the efficacy of the current alliance with OPEC.
