The State of Georgia's Nursing Shortage

Georgia has the fifth highest nursing shortage in the country. The State Department of Health declared that Georgia's nursing shortage had reached a crisis level exacerbated by low wages and retirements outpacing new recruits. To make matters worse, states like New York have been recruiting health care workers from around the country during the pandemic.
