The Parmour Status Quo Bias
People tend to just eat the same foods they've always eaten. The same brands have always bought. Once we're endowed with something once we believe it's ours, I'm Adam Jones. We become attached to it and we value it more. There are also a hell of a lot of costs with sticking to the same thing. And then when you tie in loss aversion as well, we know from Big Carnerman that losses weigh a lot heavier on us than potential gains.
