Is Texas the King of the Death Penalty?
Merrick Garland is now the attorney general. He put a moratorium on all federal executions and to institute review of what has gone on before. That review is ongoing, but we did see at least one thing emanating from that. A memo written by Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco basically told prosecutors they could continue to seek the death penalty.
