The more I love you, the less I am loved. Paul says what he says here publicly to the church. He doesn't just say this in his heart. That's a very small thing that I should be judged of you or by human court. In fact, I do not even judge myself. But he judges me and is the Lord. One translation says, I care very little, however, if I am judged by you. Now, how did he get there? How did he get to the point where he said, look, I know what you're saying. And I think there is some degree of hurt in his hearts.
