Ruby's Japanese Origins

The Japanese influences 100% from Ruby's Japanese origins and I'm happy to say that you know there is a way that could have gone badly that borrowing from a culture that you don't. The heroic side of the name has often been misinterpreted but our view is we wanted to make something that would be a tool to help you be heroic especially in combined with that early end user programming citizen developer vision that we only partially fulfilled. It was sort of a portmendu or some kind of a mashing together of heroic and haiku and haiku again reflected Ruby’s Japanese origins  the fact that it was very succinct languagevery elegant beautiful language.
