The Problem With Distributed Intelligence
I think we're breaking out of the individualistic model of cognition. We are now maybe groping, or at least moving towards an ontology in which we can relocate what we used to point out with demons and evil. I'm not like a single individual, might be manifested in a collective intelligence somehow. It's hard to follow, very hard to follow. The whole idea of a demon is that it's a malevolent, evil entity that... Yeah, wants to do harm in the world. That really doesn't have anything to do with some sort of emergent social dynamics.
