The Music Scene in the Nineties
By the nineties, there were profiteers trying to make a living off of the music scene who weren't personally involved in the music scene. I never felt a direct competition with butch wig and with smart studios. My number one goal in building the place was not so that i could have a place to work without having to go into other people's basements for recording sessions. You really only need one studio, or one recording engineer, or onegi shop, or, you know, one place to print your fliers.
