We tend to see increases in the rates of filled pauses when people are in context where they're talking about more abstract or less common things. So I think what we need to do is recognize that they pop in our speech not in everyday context so if you I'm in professional circles you probably don't I'm at home but those are exactly the contexts we also tend to be her on speakers for. We need to cut people a little bit of slack that they're only doing what their brain is sort of processing and thinking about and that's just a signal that they're doing hard work.
