i don't know if there's a better listener on a stage than gregory hutchinson, except from maybe christi mcbride and benny green. The three of them are the best three listeners i've ever seen play together. When they're all finely tuned and you can hear everything, and they're interacting in a way, but not expected in everyone. It's basically awareness, its mindfulness, its being in the moment. That's that's really ruting in the raps.
