The Smell of New York City

The smell of New York City depends on where you are in the city. The closer you are to water, I think water becomes like a very important element and part of it. There's so many restaurants that you can smell whether it's Chinese food or somebody cooking downstairs at someone else's building. And also ginkgo trees. That's very New York to me.
