Eat an Apple a Day With the Skin On
Eating apples daily has been shown to reduce clestral and can help with chronic inflammation, as well as fibre and flavenoids. Apple skins are rich in compounds called triturpinoids which have anti inflammatory properties. A recent trial in western australia showed that eating apples with the skin on helped reduce blood pressure and improve heart health. The popular phrase, an apple a day, i'm sure you can complete, has its roots in an old welsh saying that first appeared in print back in 18 66.
