Decosta's Medical Diagnosis, First Edition
Dacosta was an Italian physician who pushed for humanistic medicine. In 18 64, he wrote a book on how to make medical diagnoses. He says that the goal is not only observation for observations sake, but to think about how these observations might give insights into hidden disease. The interviewer needs to have skill and xperience, as well as organization. This episode of i am magnanimous looks at what this kind of thinking actually looks like.
