The Accounting Profession and the SEC Should Be Shamed

Berkshire Hathaway CEO says options are not that difficult to value. Berkshire will pay any executive who is granted a restricted option, even though it may be out of the money. The accounting profession and the SEC should be shamed by the fact they have long-lived themselves being muscled by business executives on the option-accounting issue. In my opinion, the business we risk losing its credibility on issues of significance to society,. about which it may have much of value to say when it advocates the incredible on issues ofsignificant to itself.
