Introduction

The RTE Stroke Ryan Tovady scandal is entering its fourth week today. Breda O'Keefe, the former Chief Financial Officer at RTE, who had given such impressive testimony when she was in earlier in the week, refused to appear yesterday. She said she'd nothing more to add to what she'd said on her previous appearance. The committee were outraged and rightly so. This story is a great public service because it reveals to those who pay 200 million euros a year to fund this organization how dysfunctional it is.
