There's a sort of sub cultural impulse to find the thing that nobody else is into. And it's also, as mau talks about, a sort of subjectivist error. You're putting your own personal, subjective preferences ahead of actual humble study and and self education. The whole like not even like reading lenon and mow and disagreeing with them, which is totally fine and understandable to some extent. But just the off the hand dismissal of lenon andmow that you see from so many aspects of the left,. i think, speaks directly to that point that mark's madness.
