CNN's John Defterios talks with CNN legal and national security analysts about the appointment of a special counsel. They say they expect an onslaught of political criticism from Republicans, including former President Barack Obama. The attorney general had discretion to appoint Jack Smith; he didn't have to do it but did so for his own good in this particular case,.
