Is There a Difference in Pre-Registered Analysis?

Gace: They did find patterns here that were in the hypothesise direction, but none of their pre registered analyses reach statistical significance. As you add predictors to your model, it becomes increasingly more likely that, by chance, alone, one of them is going to be statistically significant. Gace: But once they adjust those significance values to thes more stringent standards, the differences no longer reach significance. And so unfortunately if we're just looking at their pre-registered analyses, this isn't as clear or decisive as i was hoping for.
