TypeScript Is the Way Forward, Really?

When I joined DevTools, it did use closure, excuse me, but we then took on the job of migrating it all to TypeScript. And for a while, we actually, we still writing JavaScript files, but we had both the closure compiler and the TypeScript compilation checking those files. So my sense is that TypeScript is now the way forwards, really. For new projects, it's heavily encouraged. Within the sort of Google ecosystem, TypeScript is very well supported.
