Parmenides - A Materialist Perspective

I'm going to read a bit of parmenides, the fragments of parmanides. He's talking about seeing the world from a different perspective. But i think it is'tbut it is a materialist perspective. I think what it is is a deterministic perspective. Parmenides sees things in a ehe imagines things, let us say ina, in a very strictly deterministic way. And so, yes, that's materialistic. And it's also, in a way, sort of transcendent, transcendent of the human experience im but i'll get more into that in a moment.
