There's not, this is a ostensibly political thriller, but there arn't really politics in it, right? It's not. In terms of the world of the film, there's no one, you don't meet anyone who's committed to the soviet system. And the officials themselves, they don't appear to have any real ideological views. This is just re of vike, well, this is our job - and we're going to do what we o. Ye. I mean, for all its cynicism and world weariness, it still holds on to that kind of a, you know, romanticized vision of the post called world.
