I'm interested in the modern day personal knowledge management movement. People have been note-taking ever since using stone and wood, which granted was not a very efficient way to take notes. The one thing I have seen sometimes with people doing research online as opposed to reading a print book is I don't absorb the information as well by reading online. But I could see how that would, you know, if you're able to read online on screen and retain it, then I think brains are being changed to do that.
